As we arrived at the funeral parlour without any traffic problems or lost somewhere along the way, we saw a small crowd at Room F. Checking for my packet of tissues....we slowly walked with heavy hearts to pay our last respects to a very lovely friend.

I'm losing my best friend of 9 years as I type. My dear Guzz is pulling his every breath, gaspin in slow rhythm. His eyes are open, glazed and unfocused whilst his body is getting cold and slightly stiffening. He does not respond to me anymore. It's as if he is not there anymore yet his body is gaspin to breathe still.

About a week ago I asked a friend on advice in using wax for hair removal. She gave me some Veet strips and finally I decided to try them out this morning after waiting for my hair to grow a bit longer. Yes, they do take a while :)

I applied some powder she gave me on my underarms before gingerly placing the strips on. This evening, I was cleaning house after a visit from the pest control men yesterday who had moved everything away from the walls and practically disarrayed my already disarrayed furniture and stuff....it was a major clean up 
as they had sprayed at the top of my walls where they meet the ceiling. So everything below had to be washed and cleaned in case of the spray settling.

Ok, a quick one........ Once in a while I would play gin with my neighbours. We would set up the table, figure the chips and remove a set of tiles so we can play three kaki (3 players).


Last time I played I won less than RM3 and that is ok lah considering we play small. Regarding my recent cake marathon blog, there are a couple of ladies I would like to thank. Without them my buttercream fiasco would have been a disaster as I would have panicked and given up after failing so many times.

I just got home from a very dear friend's house. We've known each other since kindergarten! It's over a month since the little fella's come into our home. He's not the timid little bugger I picked up last month but he still does not warm up easily to people. Something I like so that he won't be easily duped by potential burglars. Unlike my silly Guzz who barks at visitors but it sounds more like "Come nearer so I can nuzzle you!"

He still had his trust issues with me and never came easily when called.
